STOUGHTON — Chief Donna McNamara reports that the Stoughton Police Department and local, state, and federal law enforcement partners arrested a Stoughton man and seized guns, ammunition, and drugs following a joint investigation.

BRIAN PRICE, AGE 21, of STOUGHTON was arrested Thursday and charged with:

  • Cocaine Trafficking (100 Grams or More)
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Drug
  • Possession of a Firearm without a Firearms Identification Card
  • Possession of a Firearm While Committing a Felony
  • Possession of Ammunition without a Firearms Identification Card

A 26-YEAR-OLD MALE, of STOUGHTON, will also be summonsed to court on a charge of Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law in connection with the investigation.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, at approximately 7:45 a.m., police were conducting surveillance in the area of Page Terrace in connection with an ongoing drug investigation when they observed PRICE enter a GMC SUV. A short time later, police conducted a motor vehicle stop nearby and took him into custody without incident.

Stoughton Police detectives and members of the Massachusetts State Police Commonwealth Interstate Narcotics Reduction Enforcement Team (CINRET),  Homeland Security Investigations, Norwood Police Department, Walpole Police Department, Hingham Police Department, and Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office then executed a search warrant at 27 Page Terrace.

During a search of the apartment, detectives located and seized two guns (a 9mm Glock handgun loaded with seven rounds and a realistic-looking Sig Sauer BB gun), 165 grams of crack cocaine, three magazines, and drug paraphernalia associated with narcotics distribution.

PRICE was arraigned Friday in Stoughton District Court and held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing on Aug. 13.

“This investigation highlights the strength of collaboration between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies,” said Chief McNamara. “I’m proud of the work our detectives did in leading this case, and by pooling our resources, we were able to remove dangerous drugs and an illegal firearm from our community and bring those responsible to justice. We are fully committed to keeping our neighborhoods safe, and this investigation illustrates that.”

These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
