STOUGHTON — Chief Donna McNamara reports that the Stoughton Police Department arrested a Stoughton man on drug trafficking charges Thursday following a narcotics investigation.
HENRY SAMUELS, AGE 36, of STOUGHTON, was arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking Cocaine (200 Grams or More)
- Trafficking Fentanyl (10 Grams or More)
SAMUELS is expected to be arraigned Friday in Stoughton District Court.
On Thursday, Nov. 14, at approximately 1:55 p.m., Stoughton Police detectives executed a search warrant at 32 Pearl St. as a result of a month-and-a-half-long narcotics investigation that identified SAMUELS as a suspect.
The search warrant led to the discovery of over 600 grams of suspected cocaine, over 80 grams of suspected fentanyl, more than $16,000 in cash, a money counter and a drug press.
SAMUELS was taken into custody after the search warrant was executed.
Stoughton Police detectives were assisted in the investigation by detectives from Norwood Police, Dedham Police, Walpole Police and K9 Deputies from the Norfolk County Sheriff’s Office.
“I would like to commend the work of our Stoughton Police detectives who led this effort and thank our law enforcement partners for their assistance in conducting a thorough and expansive investigation,” Chief McNamara said. “We are committed to aggressively enforcing the drug laws and keeping these dangerous narcotics out of our community.”
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
